But what does powder have to do with mascara?

Option 1: sometimes there’s no way to avoid mascara smudging on the eyelids during application, especially if the lashes are long and curved upwards, but to make it easier to remove smudges apply a small quantity of powder beneath the lower lash line and on the crease of the eye on the upper eyelid. This way, if the mascara smudges, you can simply remove any excess powder using a clean eye brush and the smudge will be removed effortlessly, while keeping the rest of the makeup intact.

Option 2: to hold the mascara in place and obtain high-volume lashes, which look like false lashes, after the first coat, apply powder to the lashes using a clean mascara wand. Next, apply the final coat of mascara which will dry to offer a stunning false lash effect.
